blame it on the deadline

wow has God been teaching me stuff or what.
the weekend was pretty intense, emotionally; thanks to what God was teaching me.
physically because my major deadline was yesterday and boy did i have work to finish before then.
all went well thankfully.
cept for my presentation yesterday where i apparently downtalked my design, and showed an immaturity in my presentation of ideas in drawing.
things i must keep in mind if i want to get to third year, and yes; i'm only just close to completely first year.

so after all the hard work, last night called for a well deserved break.
Wonky Legs again.
got nice and pretty-ed up only to step outside in the "pouring rain"
was only a good thing i hadn't worked on my hair.
all the makeup was getting washed away very nicely
greeting D, S and me at the Quay Club was a 20m queue.
seeing as the little bit of time the boys would get to break before the dancefloor got overcrowded, we left it.
S went home while D and me headed the opposite way.
on the way, my hair was getting a 2nd wash and i finally saved on some of my makeup remover.
thank God i had my trusty cowboy boots, save my feet.
with a jacket, my top was clearly soaked when we reached D's place.
a picture of me swimming in D's clothes would have been grand.
but i didn't think of that did i.
i was just too amused and comfy, with D's shorts which were 3/4 lengths for me; and big white tee.
it was brill how i looked like i'd shrunk from a bigger me into these clothes.
i blended in nicely infront of the tele with the other boys, all the thorns on a rose.

Me, Myself and Irene was your typical film that had wasted millions of bucks, giving the audience momentary entertainment/laughter.
i didn't learn anything from it and could have lived my life simply not understanding what a schizo was, or who i should say.
all in all a very informative night, ending with a walk home in the rain heavier than before and in a big coat borrowed off D.
a sort of walking, grey camera case with cowboy boots.

and to celebrate my extreme self-control, here's evidence of my first taste of kaya for 2005.

Before

After

12 days later, it's still alive.
a miracle indeed, as my initial predicted life expectancy of the jar was 2 days.
