As It's The End of Another Month

my patience has been tested probably every single day of this week.
when you pray for patience, make sure you know what you're asking for.

one of the most important weeks of my course, prep before my first exam, i get chucked into everyone's emotional collateral.
the only way to keep myself sane, be helpful and keep smiling like there's nothing wrong with the world.

Monday: i get involved in a bf&gf misunderstanding
Tuesday: a day product of sore lack of sleep
Wednesday: realisation of how little i know for exam
Thursday: tensed phonecall with mother
Friday: housemate ill and needs manja love
Saturday: i get shat on by a seagull

of course that isn't all.
clearly i can't spill people's personal issues on an unguarded web.
but trust me when i say, this week has been very trying.
God has really been testing the purity of my patience.

i thought the most comical one was a lovely group of seagulls flying overhead today in town.
i looked up and quickly back down remembering what could happen if i kept looking up for too long.
thinking i'd cleverly dodged a bomber mission, the next thing i see is clear amoeba like substances headed straight for my calves.
i look down and my face morphes into some weird puked look while it seems there is nothing wrong on me.
i walked home with that look frozen on my face while no one saw the crap on both my legs.

boy, do i need someone to laugh this all off with me.
