2 of 3 weeks gonei began my easter hol quite excited about how much time i'd have to get my work done without pressure.
first off, i know how sad that sounds but hey.
spending the whole of the holiday in Plymouth, in many people's opinion, is pretty desperate.
it's the sort of thing the students from china do.
but i broke that box.
having the whole flat to myself, not worrying about music or who i'll bump into in the kitchen with the way i'm looking was truly liberating.
the occasional visitor made the lonesome period easier to bear.
so i'm glad that most people are trucking back down to Plymouth this week.
in particular the ones special to me.
but it has been amazing spending time with God without having to watch the clock.
me and my babyguit at any time of day, singing songs from the heart.
getting some work done in between.
beautiful things.
seeing as my bro has caught on with the bloggin world.
i'm reminded of the days i used to type my days out.
what-i-did-today posts.
and i held myself back from doing so for 2 reasons.
1. unexpected visitors taking info and conducting abusive misuse.
2. i was afraid of what people thought
i shouldn't be like that anymore.
regarding point 2 specifically.
i write for the people i love, and the people i love take me as i am.
i write for God and God takes me as i am.
so why worllee? hor?
singlish doesn't work when injected inappropriatedly in posts does it.
God has really been teaching me so much over the past couple of weeks.
people closest to my heart would know.
what's scary is how fast the year is going by.
poeple it's the fourth month already!
we've already completely a quarter of the year and soon, it'll be a third!
ok *slaps herself* stoppit jem.
all i can say is i'm very almost sick and tired of watching people live in depression, dread, unfulfillment, purposeless, wandering aimlessly and simply for the highs of any moment.
In the words of Switchfoot:
this is your life, are you who you want to be?
i'm not here to preach a sermon so i'll leave you hanging with that thought.
as discouraging as this post sounds, i'm a genuine happy bunny.
and will probably be for the rest of my life, since the day i found my joy in Him.
good days, bad days, are all blessings from above.
i embrace each one with both arms.
so this week will fly.
when you have plans in a week, it goes by quicker.
when you look forward to things at the end of the week even more so.
like getting a delivery in the mail from Amazon and waiting for one in particular.
let's end the post with happy faces.
Thankew God for the family you blessed me with. Most Recently...
