what i did, what i thought.

let's start with food shall we?
experimentation lately has produced good and bad.

1. Salmon dish
fried salmon, blanketed in home-made cheese sauce, accompanied by brocolli, cucumber and peppers. The only challenge here was the cheese sauce, made from grated cheese, not the wisest choice. by the time i cooked my 4th piece of salmon, i turned expert. heh.

2. Chocolate Fudge
as it says on the tin, chocolate flavour fudge. What sits in the fridge now, and has been for a few days already, a glued together mass of sugar that looks brown. need i make anyone more sick? ok. i've eaten bout half of this mass already, because it was my ingredients and i don't waste. 3. Fruity Oat breakfast
a mix of fresh berries, halved white grapes, peaches and pineapple. This morning i realised i had used all the sugar i had to make that "fudge" dish, i had to try chocolate sauce. having bought so many berries, it was hard decifering which part of the rasberry was mouldy or just plain furry. overall, surprisingly good.

Besides food, my mind's been on other things.
i noted the other day, how i have yet to mention the tsunami and its effects.
yes i am pretty s-l-o-w naturally and also when it comes to these things.
and when it comes to anything political, i prefer hearing what everyone thinks and says first then, coming out with what i have in response.
people have blamed God.
people have not blamed about God.
people say it isn't fair.
people say it's natural.
but let's be honest eh? the famous question by far has got to be...
"How could God allow such a thing to happen?!"

this isn't a wrong question.
even if you read Job's story in the Bible, you'd probably ask the same.
but waidaminit.
if you studied the story, you might find the answer to both twin questions.
firstly, a very wise statement made by Job.
"If we expect good from God, can we not expect the bad?"
what right have we to be happy when we get blessed, and complain when God takes it away.
secondly, the logic.
God's created the system of the world we live in.
The water cycle. The life cycle. The sun moon cycle. The structure of the earth itself.
Imagine if God were to interfere with every single thing just for us.
what effect would this have on the globe.
you might get a hint if you watched Bruce Almighty.
the most important question to answer is, could you suggest a better way of running this complex earth system we live in?
