Premiers

1. Seemed that last night was the night to go out, so that's what i did, to chill after a whole week of staying in. It was the first time i had stilettoes injection into each of my feet, kudos to (drunk) housemate. I can only imagine Jesus' agony.

2. I was completely surrounded by smooching couples and happily twirled around but around on a comfy stool, til I stopped and drunkenly sat up straight.

3. Sewing bags are fun, but sewing pillow cases o so much more comfy womfy.

4. It being Jules' 20th on Monday, we celebrated today with our version of Chocolate Fondue. After fruit crepes, the remainder was aggressively dipped in skillfully melted chocolate (that we later burnt while attempting a further melt). Pineapple, peaches, white grapes, rasberries & (of course) strawberries. The marshmallows were just a bit of heaven, or as Shawn would say; orgasmic.

5. (this one's the funniest) I was lovingly cooked dinner today but a girl from china one door down the hall, who had a taiwanese friend visiting. She tried her best to show off her knowledge of anything Singaporean, and came up with (taiwanese accent):
"Erh...i heard...is it you speak Shwinglish in Singapore?"
"huh? shwinglish?...Oh Singlish?!"
"ah yes."
(excitedly) "Yeah!!!"
*pause
"Wait, how'd you know that?"
"Ehm i read it in article. Erh, magazine article."
(confused face) "Really??? erh well, it isn't actually a language. It's just the way we speak."

*rolls eyes*
i bet a Singaporean wrote that "article" in that magazine...
and must have thought "eh! i know how to educate the world on Singapore!"

yah! give them the impression Singlish is our national language? well done. *comical applause*
