________________________________________________________________

it took me a WHOLE 15min to get into blogging-mode so i felt i had to do justice and get some proper non-sense thoughts onto this dying blog...
revive it a little, before i dash off into the fervid heat on this island never to be seen again til i hit UK cold-soil and get bored and waste time on my room comp again.

*puts on Destiny by Zero 7 to REALLY get into things*

nothing really does it like my favourITE song of all time...
i really have no idea what it is that keeps my head bopping to that song.
whether it be bopping or if my head is just plonked on a pillow...
it does wonders, miracles...
almost like a spell.
(if my mum read this, she would tell me off for speaking so "vulgarly")
*i hear her voice: you shouldn't say SPELL because that has to do with witches and evil and black magic..................*

seems like i've turned into a rebel ever since my parents arrived on the same island a while ago.
everything i do is somehow wrong.
whether it's because i come out of the shower in nothing but a towel, or i'm self-tanning at 1am, or if i decide to wash my cup 4 seconds too late...
there's always something to be said.
and believe me, i'm not a happy bunny.
"yes mum" usually does the trick but if "MY TONE IS NOT RIGHT" i get that extra telling off.
i'm barely coping with it and "acting" guai for now just to keep myself sane since no one else will.
isn't there a saying "NERDS RULE"???
well there BETTER BEEee!

anyways, onto happier things.
i had such a good laugh with my younger brother in the car today.
childhood phrase quickily comes to mind: THE BACKSEAT ISN'T A PLAYGROUND
as SO well said by my dad in person.
i can't do it with...my daughter voice.
laughed so hard i thought my dinner was gonna erupt, so loud i thought serangoon was gonna turn around and give me a good telling off.
Arrh...AYE DONT CARE!

another happy thing today, lunch at a quaint foochow eatery off Beach Road.
(erhem...yes i AM foochow and canNOT converse in my own dialect)
3 generations at one table could spell disaster or boredom but thankfully was quite the opposite.
all of us seemed to have a good laugh, despite differences in senses of humour thanks to the generation gaps.
while we stuffed our faces with bowl upon bowl of a thousand types of noodles, we laughed.
now just picture that...quite a sight eh?
i was the first to stop eating because i believe my stomach has literally shrunk qudos to England living.
now i look at a bowl of fish soup wadever and simple cannot imagine anyone finishing the whole bowl.
then a Singaporean comes along, finishes the bowl and orders another one straight away!
needless to say, i am always amazed at how much Singaporeans can eat.
and am jealous that they eat more and are skinnier than me.

back to a little peeved-off-ness...
just recently, i've observed a little fudging of my marney on 3 products.
namely, replacement Venus razor blades, special Nail-varnish pump and a Campbell's Soup bag from Korea.
and i am REALLY not happy about the unneccessary loss of my holiday income!
about.....*does quick calculation*...20 buckeroos in total!
now i know that doesn't sound like much especially when converted back into pounds.
but i guess i'm just going to have to earn it back somehow.
not by FRAUD of course but by sheer hard work from my special services in UK when i have a month to "burn" before heading to uni in september.

time to kick my earring-making skills, hair-cutting skills, manicure and (in process) pedicure skills, into gear.

*reminds herself of coming A level results and says a little prayer for herself*

*dashes off for a nice warm shower*
